The project of the national historical archeological center "Minsk castle"

Model of the national historical archeological centre «Minsk Castle».

The project is proposed to be realised near the Sports Palace on the corner of Pobediteley Avenue and Nemiga Street in Minsk.

The size of the model is made on a scale of 1/200.

Such materials as plastics, polystyrene, plexiglass, PVC, metal, self-adhesive films and acrylic paints were used in the manufacturing.

The model is made with a high level of detailing of the exterior.

Future objects of the National Historical and Archaeological Center and the surrounding area, including the Svisloch River and the flyover, are presented on a stand.

According to the architects’ plan, a museum will be built over the excavation site of the «Minsk Castle» with a 12th-century temple, and next to the museum there will be a replica of the «remake» of life-size buildings that were found during excavations.

On the roof of the museum, there will be a recreation area with a summer amphitheatre and flower beds in the form of ancient coats of arms.

For clarity of demonstration and presentation of the project, the roof of the museum with lawns in the form of coats of arms is removable, it can be easily lifted and you can see the internal structure of the museum and the excavation site.

The model is equipped with a 6 mm thick plexiglass anti-dust cover.

The model, along with other projects of our workshop, was presented at the Minsk City Hall on March 25, 2011, to the head of state during the report of the Minsk City Executive Committee on the prospects for the development of the capital until 2015.
